Mediation is a binding agreement between the parties that are in dispute, whether it’s a custody case, whether it’s a divorce case, or an enforcement. A judge can order mediation. Also, mediation can be done by the agreement of the parties. In order for the mediation to be binding, it must have three things. First, it should provide that the agreement is not subject to revocation. Number two, it must be signed by the parties.
