Kimberly P. Washington

Senior Managing Attorney

Kimberly Washington is an experienced family law attorney that has been with Bryan Fagan, PLLC, since 2015. Her success in representing clients, tenacity, and natural leadership skills have resulted in Kimberly being named Managing Senior Attorney of the firm. It is a role that has her supervising over 15 attorneys as well as handling communication issues that arise among staff.

Kimberly’s passion is in educating and assisting parents in protecting their relationship with their children, as well as providing guidance in making decisions that promote the long-term best interests of the children. To further these goals, she ensures her clients understand their rights in regards to their family. As a mother, she understands a parents’ need to be with their children, and believes that both parents are equally important in a child’s life.

Kimberly also has extensive experience with military family law matters, including divorce, and is well prepared to assist military members and their spouses in family law proceedings. Her knowledge also extends to assisting clients whose divorces include complex business matters.

Kimberly understands the struggles of balancing a career with the responsibilities of being a parent. She is married with two sons who keep her busy with football, track, and basketball. Managing their practice and games schedules, while also attending games and being a “team mom,” means many nights and weekends are spent traveling and watching various sporting events. On top of this, Kimberly ensures her children stay on top of their academic studies and she loves to cook for her family whenever their busy schedules allow.

Representative Experience

  • Represented non-biological father in a divorce where her client and spouse had joint conservatorship of children in anticipation of adoption but got divorced prior to adopting. Also represented the client in subsequent custody matters involving the children’s biological parents and the non-biological mother, resulting in award of primary custody for her client.

  • Represented numerous clients in court-ordered mediation and court hearings in complex and high-conflict divorces.

  • Represented numerous clients in the completion of amicable and uncontested divorces involving community property distribution, spousal support, child support, child custody and visitation.
