HAAM provides essential social and community services to a growing number of people who have fallen into poverty or hard times both during the pandemic and during difficult economic times.

FamilyTime Crisis and Counseling Center is also located in Humble. They offer a 24-hour Crisis Helpline and Emergency Shelter for individuals, families and groups. If your child has gone through a traumatic situation, then you can bring him or her to FamilyTime for play therapy for children. There is no fee for an intake session. All fees thereafter are charged on a sliding scale basis meaning that the fewer resources you have the less you would be charged for taking in a session of care at this counseling center.

FamilyTime also offers a shelter with available room and beds for up to 38 vicitms of abuse as well as their children. This is a safe environment that may be relevant fo you if you are going through a divorce or are just coming out of a divorce. However, you can have meals prepared and child care offered which allows you more time to find work, a stable place or live or just offer you some time to sort through everything that you have been through over the past few months or years.
